As I have to be in Atlanta for an appointment on Friday, November 13, this week’s dinner will be prepared and ready for pickup by 5 pm on Thursday, November 12. It will be fully cooked, cooled, and refrigerated, ready to pop back into the oven for your Friday dinner.

Order and pre-pay by Wednesday and pick up on THURSDAY by 5:00 pm. Just $20 per person- or $15 per person without dessert +Meals tax @ 8% will apply.

MENU:

  • Entree: Shepherd's Pie. Ground beef cooked with onions, garlic, tomatoes, and herbs topped with buttery mashed potatoes, served with glazed carrots, and sugar snap peas.

    Directions to heat: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake shepherd’s pie for 30 minutes or until warmed through and just slightly bubbling.

  • Dessert:  Bread and butter pudding.

    Bread and butter pudding is a traditional type of bread pudding popular in British cuisine. It is made by layering slices of buttered bread in an oven dish, over which an egg custard mixture, seasoned with nutmeg, vanilla, and other spices, is poured. Baked until set. Best served slightly warm with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream!


Pickup is at the Dot 2 Dot Inn, located at 200 S. Washington Avenue in downtown Eatonton, just a short drive from Lake Oconee, Madison, Milledgeville, and Lake Sinclair. We'll be happy to bring your order out to your car when you arrive.
