9 to 5 Musical at The Plaza Arts Center - November 18, 19, 20
The Lake Country Players and PAPA, Plaza Alliance for the Performing Arts, are happy to announce that they will be collaborating on ‘9 to 5 The Musical’ this year!
‘9 to 5 The Musical’ tells the story of three unlikely friends who take control of their office and learn there is nothing they can’t do, even in a man’s world. With music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick, 9 to 5 is based on the 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic.
This show will be directed by Dennis McClain, Sarah Daly Weir, Dottie McClain, and Michael Homeier and choreographed by Mo Brower.
The show dates are November 10, 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. at Festival Hall in Greensboro and November 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. and November 20 at 2:30 p.m. at The Plaza in Eatonton.
Tickets are on sale to Members/Donors starting September 1 and available to the public starting September 15. This show is rated PG-13, so it may not be suitable for children.
