Food can always bring us together.
Friends old and new.
I am offering a cooking class on Saturday, February 17 for couples as a Valentine's treat. The entire class lasts about 4 hours and ends with dinner we'll prepare together. Scroll down to see the full menu details.
A chance for a date night, without the stress. Bring your loved one and spend some real time together. Teamwork, laughter, a drink when you need one, and a chance to get creative in the kitchen. Instead of sitting in a restaurant, checking your phone...learn a few new cooking techniques while creating a meal together.
Like any one of us, I make mistakes and forget to tell my husband how much I love him. But I do, and he is still my best friend and the reason that I am alive today. So, take a moment to remember why you love your partner and how important it is to embrace new experiences like this one.
This is a hands-on class where you get to help prepare the meal and then sit and enjoy it together in the comfort of our home. My goal is to make it fun, friendly, educational, and memorable. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes and ask as many questions as you need to. Feel free to BYOB to enjoy while cooking and/or to enjoy with dinner.

VALENTINE’S DAY COOKING CLASS MENU
For the starter - one of those dishes that seems intimidating at first, but always impresses everyone. I'll show you how to make it turn out delicious every time. To be followed by the main course of tarragon chicken with creme fraiche and sherry, served with roasted fennel, and potato gratin. And for dessert, beautiful fruit meringues.
STARTER: This is one for the cheese lovers, a light, airy souffle made with aged cheddar and parmesan cheese - infused with fresh thyme.
ENTREE: An elegant chicken and tarragon dish, made with creme fraiche, Amontillado sherry, shallots, garlic, and fresh tarragon. Served with roasted fennel, julienned carrots, and creamy potato gratin.
DESSERT: Finish with the guilty pleasure of meringues but so light that you can enjoy them topped with whipped cream and a fruit flower.
COST: $50 per person
